About the Foundation

Thirukkural English Couplet Eunoia Foundation is aiming to serve people all around the world with the Knowledge of Thirukkural. Just for the purpose Thirukkural was translated into English as it is in Tamil language with 4+3 Words. That is to say that a translation has been made in the name of "Thirukkural English Couplet" by Dr.R.J.A.Stephen Loie. It took 12 years to complete. It was published by Palaniappa Brothers, Chennai and released on 27.10.2018 in a grand function. It obtained ISBN: 9789388139601. Thirukkural itself is a University with different subjects aptly put in 7x1330 words, certifying human beings as Worthy lives.This Foundation is registered as a Trust in the State of Tamil Nadu in India.The name of this Foundation itself explicitly, vividly and clearly suggests that it has been created for executing the Kural suggesting ideals and ideas in our day today life.

Thirukkural English Couplet Eunoia Foundation being a Charitable and Educational Trust  is open to all irrespective of any gender, sexual considerations, citizenship, States, race, sects and class or educational level. The six lettered word 'Eunoia', which is an example of a word with all English vowel letters  suggests the Objective for which the Foundation is created. It actually refers to action rather than saying. But the Foundation acts keeping in mind the following advice before it plunges into any action:

The Foundation is dedicated to promote 1330 'Eunoia works' based on the Kurals. All 133 Chapters are divided under 16 Headings by Dr. R.J.A. Stephen Loie with a view to spreading the essence of the Kurals, which looks forward  to  executing  ideals found in the Kurals. Barring the said translated book Dr.Stephen Loie has voiced out all 1330 Kurals both in English and Tamil with his interpretations as per his translations,. Cosmic Law, Vision, Mission and Motto of the Foundation

Cosmic Law is the Natural law that the Universe is based or founded on for its survival. This applies to the world, humans as well, being  part of this Universe. Physical Laws such as Law of Gravitation, Men-made State Laws, Laws pertaining to action and reaction are also working under Cosmic force or law as created or designed  by God.This is well explained in the Thirukkural. The Chapter 38 is exclusively devoted for this. The Vision of this Foundation is to spread the Truth and Peace to the world through Thirukkural and the mission  is working towards reaching this destination as the Objectives of the Foundation suggest. From pages 207-211 at the side bar in T.N.Gov. website one can find my Article on Thirukkural Words, Two You-tube Channel Links having in all 1330 Kurals being interpreted both in Tamil and English with motivational speech by Dr.Stephen Louie are at the right side bar at the beginning. The Motto of this Foundation is " Towards Truth & Peace to the world"

As to the thought put forth by the author of ICA University, Thirukkural is a supplement to complement the exact Truth as set forth in the Bible as Truth is Truth everywhere and it is true truth only because it is same all over irrespective of any different geographical identities. God is not a monopoly of anyone or any sect. He is for all. He cannot be claimed to be an exclusive property of anyone. Every human being is born equal. His morality and education only decide his status as to whether his birth is mean or great, not anything else.

Human Rights are yard sticks against which all people must measure their conduct and of their Governments and Public Officials and against which the global community as a whole must measure its progress.

No nation can move along the true democratic way of life without true democracy. Without true democracy, political democracy cannot last unless there lies on the base of it, a social democracy.

IHRA helps those who helps themselves. In this globalisation period, intellectual people have a duty to help and save those below poverty line. Slum people, illiterates and poor helpless people have been cut-off from the main line of national and international body.

IHRA's philiosophy is based on Human Rights and Humanitarism.
